With the recent preservation of the Sturgeon Farm project–now home to Dropstone Farms–and last year’s Reise Farm project–now home to Cheryl the Pig Lady and Friends–we have a lot to celebrate in Pierce County! This Fall we are headed south for a multi-farm tour celebration in the Puyallup Valley. Sanford’s Farm will also be joining the tour lineup, as well as neighboring Clean Food Farm.
Learn all about the challenges and rewards of sustainable farming, and enjoy plenty of farm-fresh goods for sale along the way. This tour is FREE and family-friendly! Grab some cash, your reusable totes, and come out to the Valley to support these hard-working farmers by purchasing their organic produce, eggs, organic chicken, pork and more.
To visit Cheryl the Pig Lady Farm, drive directly to her property at 14308 Military Rd. E, Puyallup, WA 98374. From Hwy 162, turn onto Military Rd, then left into the first dirt driveway.
To visit Sanford’s Farm, Dropstone Farms, and Clean Food Farm, please park at the Community Center/ Orville Rd Soccer Fields and take our free shuttle, as there is no parking available at the southern farms. (Tour maps will be available at Cheryl the Pig Lady Farm and at the Orting Pumpkin Fest).
