A change in leadership

Dear Friends,

After nearly nine years of dedicated leadership and service, Executive Director Rebecca Sadinsky will step down from her position with PCC Farmland Trust in the spring of 2019.

Rebecca has been planning for this transition for many months and believes that this change is coming at the right time for the organization. With the leadership and strength of board and staff, the launch and success to date of the Our Farms, Our Future campaign, and a full pipeline of conservation projects on the horizon, the future of the organization is extremely bright. Under Rebecca’s leadership, PCC Farmland Trust has significantly grown its staff, budget, programs, and impact across Washington. Rebecca is excited to support a planned transition over the next eight months, and to deliver a healthy organization to the next leader that is well-poised for continued success.

The PCC Farmland Trust Board of Directors has formed a task force to support Rebecca’s transition and lead the effort to identify the next executive director. The Board plans to have a new executive director in place by March 2019.

As a trusted member of our community and farmland preservation champion, we are committed to keeping you informed throughout this transition. As we conduct the search for our new executive director, please know that the critical work of preserving sustainable and organic farmland will continue with the same fervor and enthusiasm. We look forward to honoring Rebecca’s legacy with our organization over these coming months, and embarking upon this next chapter of PCC Farmland Trust with you.

Thank you for your continued support and please know that you are welcome to reach out to me at pccftboard@pccfarmlandtrust.org if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Beth Mondzac
Board President
