Please join us at Reise Farm in the Puyallup Valley to plant some native trees and shrubs in honor of Earth Day. The Farmland Trust purchased Reise Farm in 2012 and has been working with farmers Jeremy and Angela Sanford to care for the natural resources on the property.
On April 11th, help us improve water quality and biodiversity along Ball Creek by planting native trees and shrubs. We’ll work with experts from the Pierce Conservation District to ensure this portion of the creek is a healthy home for the many creatures on the property including many species of birds, beavers, coyotes and other critters. And with any luck, farmers Jeremy and Angela Sanford will take a break from their busy day to give us a tour of the property and introduce us to Willy, their massive pig!
