PCC Farmland Trust was founded in 1999 by PCC Natural Markets as an independent nonprofit. While the majority of our funding comes from individual contributions, shopping at PCC is also a great way to support our work. Below is a list of our vendor partners, all of whom sell products at PCC and contribute a portion of their proceeds to the Trust. In addition to vendor partner products, other PCC items that support our work include the Seattle Chinook Book, the PCC Farmland Trust veggie platter at the PCC deli, and our 100% organic cotton PCC Farmland Trust totes. In addition, select local, craft breweries supports us monthly by donating $1 from each case sold at PCC.
Support farmland at PCC Natural Markets
Many food producers that sell products at PCC recognize the importance of farmland preservation — each of them are members of our Vendor Partner Program. While shopping at PCC Natural Market stores, be sure to look for the orange tag that identifies products that support PCC Farmland Trust.
One of our longest-running partners, Powers Winery generously donates $2 per bottle of their specially-blended PCC Farmland Trust Chardonnay and Cabernet wines. Powers Winery is a longtime champion of sustainable viticulture, and their Badger Mountain Vineyard was the first to be certified organic in the state. You can find PCC Farmland Trust wine blends at all PCC Natural Market stores. Since 2007, Powers Winery has contributed over $175,000 to PCC Farmland Trust through this partnership.
